Carpathian integrated assessment of vulnerability to climate change and ecosystem-based adaptation measures (CARPIVIA)

This object has been archived because its content is outdated. You can still access it as legacy

Description:

The CARPIVIA project aims to assess the vulnerability of the Carpathian region to climate change in combination with other anthropogenic pressures. Based on this vulnerability assessment an inventory is made of potential and already implemented adaptation measures. A framework to assess the vulnerability and adaptation measures in the region is provided. The focus is on ecosystem-based adaptation measures. A stakeholder group is invited to participate in the assessment. Results of the project are disseminated by a dedicated website and by presentations at workshops and conferences in the region.
