How to benefit from Copernicus C3S data – a webinar of the Adaptation Series by the Convenant of Mayors

Description:

The Covenant of Mayors (CoM) has organised a webinar as part of the implementation of actions of the Climate Adaptation Partnership under the Urban Agenda. The webinar is part of one of the 10 actions developed in the climate adaptation action plan, which aims to improve the EU municipalities’ knowledge in the framework of Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) to better plan climate adaptation strategies. The webinar focused on the assessment of risk and vulnerabilities of climate adaptation and is part of the Adaptation Webinar Series of the CoM.

Two local climate adaptation strategies were presented during the webinar from the municipalities of Gent, BE and Guimarães, PT. Moreover the European Environment Agency (EEA) and Copernicus Climate Change Services (C3S) presented some of the tools for assessing risks and vulnerabilities at local level.
