Description

The European Natural Water Retention Measures Platform is a platform that supports the implementation of the European Environmental Policy on green infrastructure as a way to contribute to integrated goals dealing with nature and biodiversity conservation and restoration, landscaping. The platform and the catalogue of case studies and measues are a way to inspire users about possible natural water retention measures that are relevant for specific sectors, like the urban sector, the agriculture sector, the forestry sector, and the water sector. The platform describes NWRM related concepts, individual measures and case studies as well as a practical guide on how to implement NWRM. New case studies can be submitted.
