Description

Regional approach on adaptation plans and strategies for Hessen (Germany).

The Hessian Ministry of Environment, Rural Development and Consumer Protection (HMULV) has launched in 2004, the Integrated Climate Protection Program Hesse 2012 (INKLIM 2012) consisting of several components designed to ensure the technical basis for the planning period to 2012; it was completed in early 2006.

INKLIM 2012 includes climate change in Hesse (analysis of observed climate changes since 1900, and climate projections up to 2100) as well as climate adaptation measures, including possible impacts were estimated in different sectors (water, agriculture and forestry, health and safety).
