Description

The Hungarian adaptation platform, Klímadialógus (Climate Dialogue Forum), was developed as an initiative of the Ministry of National Development. Embedded in the website of the Geological and Geophysical Institute of Hungary (MFGI), the platform was launched in June 2013 and since then it has been hosted by the National Adaptation Centre. Klímadialógus intends to facilitate the distribution of information and knowledge on climate change impacts, and prevention, preparedness and adaptation measures. Furthermore, the platform aims to support the establishment of a network for consultation on strategic, professional issues and problems related to climate change (e.g. exchanging opinions on position papers, strategies, draft laws, concepts and studies), and create a fertile environment for constructive debates and awareness-raising.
