Description

Online Platform for Technologies for Mitigation and Adaptation aimed at supporting innovation and technology transfer. It is devoted to a wide range of stakeholders in developed and developing countries who are involved in technology transfer, including practitioners, project developers, and policy makers interested in technologies for climate change mitigation and adaptation.

ClimateTechWiki offers detailed information on a broad set of (mitigation and) adaptation technologies (called adaptation technologies here), technology case studies, application of technology under the CDM, and a user forum to facilitate a "community of technology practitioners". A search engine complements ClimateTechWiki by offering information on renewables, energy efficiency and climate change, e.g. news and announcements, statistical data, laws and reports.

ClimateTechWiki is a supporting tool for the Handbook for Conducting Technology Needs Assessment for Climate Change, developed by the United Nations Developing Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Secretariat.
