Description

Taking into consideration the multi-faceted drivers of climate related changes and the complexities of their impacts, strategies to cope with climate change needs to increase the focus on the adaptive capacity of communities, sectors and industries to changes in the social-ecological systems. This project directly addresses this through a set of work packages directed at each dimension. Understanding of adaptive capacity is critical for successful adaptation and development of climate change adaption policy. The project is therefore highly relevant for local communities, sectors and decision makers.
