The main objective of the COADAPT project is to develop shoreline management tools to meeting the additional threats for the coastal areas due to sea level rise and changes in storminess. As part of this, the project aims to: (i) better understand impacts of climate change on coastal environments (e.g. flooding, erosion, coastal degradation); (ii) to develop coastal protection techniques and systems; (iii) to develop new shoreline management practices, legislation etc.
