Environment and Climate Regional Accession Network (ECRAN)

Description:

The ECRAN project supports action in the fields of environment and climate in 8 beneficiary countries (in relation to preparation for accession to EU): Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey.
As to climate change adaptation, the project aims at promoting coordination and information-sharing between the ECRAN beneficiaries, and uptake of adaptation considerations in all relevant policies.
Project activities on climate change adaptation cover: ‘best practices on adaptation and regional training on vulnerability assessments’ and ‘support for the identification of adaptation options’.
