Description

The main aim of the oLIVE-CLIMA project is to promote the introduction of new cultivation practices for tree crops as a cost-effective means of mitigating and adapting to climate change. Olive-producing areas in Greece will be selected to investigate their potential to increase carbon sequestration by soils, to reduce GHG emissions, and to test three different socio-economic situations currently prevalent in Greece farms: from more traditional farming to innovative environmentally sensitive farming.
