Description

This report explains the key findings and potential uses of the UK Climate Projections. Moreover, it provides an update on the Government’s Adapting to Climate Change (ACC) Programme. Chapter 2 describes what UK Climate Projections are. Chapter 3 sets out some of the key findings for England and provides further information on some of the possible impacts. Chapter 4 sets out what the Projections mean for organisations and individuals. The Projections underline the need for both adaptation and mitigation. Chapter 5 sets out a summary of the work made, nationally and internationally, on climate change mitigation. Chapter 6 sets out how the UK Government and others are contributing to the Programme together with information about the work being done to adapt to climate change.
