Baltadapt Report #11: Review of Stakeholder Dialogues in Climate Adaptation Related Projects in the Baltic Sea Region

Description

The synthesis report on the review of stakeholder dialogues aims to function as a background report where experiences from earlier stakeholder dialogues from related projects are documented. The purpose of the review is that the collected experiences will act as a guide to the organization and structuring of the stakeholder dialogues conducted in Baltadapt. The report elaborates on what different roles stakeholders have taken in the evaluated projects, and gives an account of the learning and outcomes from stakeholder dialogues conducted in the projects. A list of relevant projects was constructed and a total of 33 projects were planned to review. Of these 33 projects 21 reviews were made. The reviewed projects had diverse degrees of stakeholder involvement. Some of the projects did only include disseminating activities such as end-conferences where stakeholders were invited to attend, while other built their project input and goals on two-way stakeholder dialogues.
