Climate Risk Analysis and Adaptation in Companies

Companies increasingly have to deal with climate risks and, if necessary, implement adaptation measures. To this end, there are clear requirements in the EU taxonomy, the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and other frameworks that are mandatory for some companies to apply. This document contains recommendations for conducting a "robust climate risk and vulnerability assessment" according to the requirements of the Climate Delegated Act as a draft - changes and additions are still possible up to the final edition. The focus of this document lies on economic activities in the manufacturing sector. However, the general approach on risk assessments and much of the content can be transferred to other economic activities, even if they are not explicitly mentioned.
