Description

This paper explores the history and characteristics of adaptation platforms. Considering the use of adaptation platforms in practice, as well as the structure and evaluation of adaptation platforms, the paper provides insights on the extent to which they are relevant, usable, and useful, whether or not these attributes translate into sustained use, barriers to take-up of adaptation platforms, and how these might be overcome. Finally, it summarises its contribution to the understanding of effective and sustainable decision support.
