Elaboration and implementation of a local adaptation strategy or action plan

This report is intended for local authority staff and the climate change actors who provide them with support.The first part of the report explains why and how the ten local authorities, whose processes for developing and implementing adaptation strategies and plans are analysed in this study, were selected. The second part summarises the approach followed by each local authority studied, and the third part sets out the experience acquired in the process. Based on the experience of the local authorities studied, the fourth part of the report offers answers to the questions that  local authorities might have when preparing the adaptation plan.
