Description

Future climate change is expected to have impacts on the energy sector. This report analyses the impact of climate change on hydropower, wind power, bioenergy, peat, solar power, fossil fuels and nuclear power. Climate change offers an opportunity for electricty production by hydropower and wind power, as well as bioenergy. Furthermore, climate change affects the demand for electricty and heating because an increasing cooling demand will be experienced. District heating is expected to decrease.
