Description

The present literature study summarizes existing knowledge on the influence of participation processes on the personal provision of relevant actors in climate change adaptation. The study analyzes the interdependencies of the three central components a) participation formats, b) psychological factors influencing provisioning and c) personal provision. The results of the study show that the scientific literature currently lacks systematic evaluations of the effect of participation formats on personal provision. The project "Analysis of Innovative Participation Processes", within the framework of which this study was created, addresses this knowledge gap on the activation potential of participation with the planning, implementation and systematic evaluation of communal participation processes for climate adaptation in Worms, Lübeck and Bad Liebenwerda / Elsterwerda.
