As well as participating in the negotiations, the EU will have a programme of side events in a dedicated pavilion at COP28.
One of which is the Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change discussion on “Adaptation beyond borders: an EU Mission towards climate resilience”, highlighting the Mission as an innovative initiative that unites European regions and local actors in addressing climate change adaptation challenges. By learning from the EU's experience and innovative approach, we aspire to encourage international collaboration and action at the local level.
The pavilion will showcase how the EU is taking ambitious climate action and supporting climate projects around the world through a programme of side events that will be accessible to everyone via an online platform.
