See all EU institutions and bodiesThe EIB Advisory JASPERS Networking Platform is organising this webinar to share experiences and good practices.
Infrastructure is among the sectors most exposed to climate-related risks, including flooding, extreme weather, and energy disruptions. The 2024 European Climate Risk Assessment (EUCRA) identifies it as a priority for urgent adaptation action. For projects seeking EU funding—such as through the Cohesion Fund or InvestEU—climate resilience proofing is also a formal requirement.
This webinar will provide insights into how Member States can implement climate resilience proofing in practice, with a focus on transport and flood protection infrastructure. Participants will learn about relevant EU policies, methodologies, and tools, and hear case studies from across Europe.
Topics will include:
- EU climate adaptation policy and future directions
- The European Commission’s climate resilience proofing methodology
- EIB’s advisory support and tools developed under the JASPERS mandate
- Case studies on transport networks and flood protection infrastructure
- Interactive discussion on challenges and capacity building needs
Who should attend:
Public authorities, project developers, infrastructure planners, and stakeholders involved in climate adaptation and infrastructure development.
The webinar includes an interactive Slido session to gather feedback and identify further support needs. A provisional agenda is available upon request.
Should you have any questions, please contact at jaspersnetwork@eib.org.
Registration deadline is 23 June 2025 (noon - CET).
