Our training sessions are tailored for regions and local authorities, guiding you through the essential aspects and proven methods for effective stakeholder and citizen engagement in climate adaptation. The sessions focus on engagement activities that can benefit regions in the design and implementation of different steps of the adaptation cycle – everything from preparing the ground for adaptation (Step 1 of the RAST) to monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the adaptation plan (Step 6 of the RAST).
Next session:
- From Europe to local: building a local community of practice, October 24th, from 13:30 to 15:30 CET
In this session, Laure-Emilie Angevin, Director of Climate and Ecological Transformation at Centre-Val de Loire region, will present their successful and inspiring experience on their first regional energy-climate Community of Practice launched in 2019. This community aimed to unite various actors (citizens, businesses, local authorities, etc.) in the ecological transition and create the necessary synergy for building a sustainable future. The session will include a hands-on exercise to apply theoretical knowledge to imaginary scenarios, by addressing two key questions essential for establishing a successful Community of Practice (CoP).
