Type of funding

Funding rate (percentage of covered costs)

The scheme provides annual payments to farmers, with the flexibility to opt in or out each year. Payments are based on the implementation of eight identified agricultural practices, which contribute to environmental sustainability. The payment rate is expected to be approximately €60–€65 per hectare, though this may vary depending on overall participation. The scheme has a total annual financial allocation of €297 million.
