Objective of the funding programme

The programme funds climate change adaptation actions, prioritising those that take a preventive approach and are preferably based on nature-based solutions. It also supports projects that promote a green and low-carbon transition by enhancing energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, water management, and biodiversity protection.

Funding rate (percentage of covered costs)

The programme provides different co-financing rates depending on the level of regional development. Less developed regions can receive up to 85% co-financing, transition regions up to 60%, and more developed regions up to 40%.
