Objective of the funding programme

The objective of the Climate Change Programme is to mitigate the effects of climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting adaptation measures. The programme ensures the implementation of climate change adaptation in Lithuania in accordance with European Union legislation, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Kyoto Protocol, the Paris Agreement, and other international commitments.
