Objective of the funding programme

The key objectives of the programme are aligned with EU priorities (see sub-programmes below). Investments will focus on improving quality of life in the regions, enhancing energy security, supporting digitalisation, and promoting green solutions. The programme consolidates six previous programmes from the 2014–2020 period.

Administering authority

The Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatisation of the Slovak Republic, the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic, and the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA) are key actors in implementing the programme. A portion of the allocation for measures is delivered through the Integrated Territorial Investments (ITI) mechanism, under the decision-making competence of functional urban areas and self-governing regions (VÚC).
