The Slovenian Regional Development Fund finances initiatives across four key areas: entrepreneurship, agriculture and forestry, local infrastructure, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs). The fund primarily provides loans to support pre-financing and investment activities. The AGRO programme promotes sustainable agricultural practices that are resilient to climate impacts, while the BIZI programme encourages environmentally conscious entrepreneurship in tourism and crafts. The LOKALNO programme focuses on the development of resilient local infrastructure and sustainable community amenities. Additionally, the NVO programme empowers non-profit organisations to strengthen their capacity to respond to the impacts of climate change.
