The Icelandic Meteorological Office together with international partners is hosting a symposium highlighting rapid changes occurring in all components of the Earth's cryosphere. Many topics related to the cryosphere and its changes due to global warming will be presented, including ‘opportunities, adaptation and mitigation’.
