Forum on the Mission Adaptation to Climate Change

The objective of the Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change is to support at least 150 regions and communities to accelerate their transformation towards climate resilience by 2030. On 14 March, the Mission launched an invitation to EU regions and local authorities to join the Mission. A survey is now available for regions and local authorities to express their interest in joining the Mission. Regions and local authorities that demonstrate commitment to adaptation will be invited to sign a Mission Charter. By joining the Mission and signing up to the Charter, regions and local authorities will become part of a community of practice on adaptation to climate change, and have the opportunity to network and share with other regions and local authorities in Europe. The first signatories to the Mission Charter will be announced at the first Mission Forum on 7 June 2022.
