Calling all researchers with expertise in climate change and health: Climate Change & Infectious Disease Wikipedia Workshop

Wikipedia is read 15 billion times every month. It’s where millions first turn for health and climate information. Your expertise can help ensure what they find there is accurate, accessible, and evidence-based.

Experts are invited to an online workshop hosted by the Global Systems Institute at the University of Exeter: We need experts in infectious disease and climate change to help us improve the Wikipedia article Climate change and infectious disease.

About this event

The workshop will be 1 hour long and take place on Zoom (you only need to attend one of the two sessions to participate, but you are welcome to attend both if you wish).  No previous experience regarding Wikipedia is necessary as we will collaboratively edit a simple Google doc version of the article. The resulting edits will be then made to Wikipedia by the organisers.

Online workshops held on the 20th (1pm) & 26th (4pm) of November 2025 (you only need to attend one session)
