EC launches call to award promising practices on mental health

The European Commission is calling for promising and implemented best practices, i.e., relevant policies or interventions, focusing on mental health promotion, prevention, detection and intervention – including those responding to climate change induced challenges.

The EC, in collaboration with Member States, will not only support the implementation of practices, but also development of guidance on early detection and intervention, and screening of vulnerable groups. Governmental and non-governmental actors are invited to submit proposals for best and promising practices via the EU Best Practice Portal by Friday 29 September (midnight CET), after consultation of the submitter’s guide.
