A new set of case studies from the World Health Organization’s Regions for Health Network highlights how six European regions are addressing the health impacts of climate change: Andalusia, Emilia-Romagna, Flanders, Moscow, Ticino and Wales. The examples outline climate strategies, governance approaches and actions to strengthen resilient, low-carbon health systems. They emphasise integrating health into climate policies, improving surveillance and early-warning systems, and addressing inequalities that heighten climate-related health risks.
