Workshop: Modelling the economics of climate change

JPI Climate and Cambridge Trust for New Thinking in Economics, supported by the EU funded MAGICA project, provide national policymakers and government science advisors the latest insights into Integrated Assessment Models (IAMs) in a science-policy context. One of the four areas that will be considered is climate adaptation costs in relation to mitigation costs.

Workshop: Societal transformation in the face of climate change

Global Health Symposium: Extreme heat and health in the context of climate change

The goal of the annual UCPH Global Health Symposium is to highlight a global health emergency: The impact of extreme heat on public health due to climate change. In the next decade or so, heat is anticipated to emerge as one of the foremost consequences of climate change impacting public health. Although the deleterious effects of heat on health have been documented in different fields of study, we are still not adequately prepared to address this challenge on a global scale. The aim of this symposium is to bring together leading scientific experts and practitioners, young researchers, students, and the public to share and discuss the current state of research and practice globally, to promote transdisciplinary collaboration, and to identify steps needed to advance the field.

MIP4Adapt: Addressing Loss and Damage in Europe's Regions

Through presentations and discussion, this online event aims to foster a shared understanding of Loss and Damage among policymakers, practitioners, and researchers, while showcasing actionable approaches to reduce vulnerability and strengthen resilience to residual climate impacts. It is organised by MIP4dapt, the consortium that manages the EU Mission on adaptation community.

On 3 December 2025, WHO/Europe will host a virtual consultation with the Pan-European Commission on Climate and Health to elevate local perspectives and inform its upcoming Call to Action.

The Climateurope2 Platform, funded by a Horizon Europe project, is a user-friendly and innovative space in which users can access practical climate service resources. During the webinar, participants will get a live walkthrough of the platform, guided by the partners who developed it to discover how it can support adaptation work.

Joint Webinar Ministry of Climate and Environment Poland/Climate-ADAPT on Climate risks for water management

The webinar in Polish, with simultaneous translation into English, is organised by the Ministry of Environment, Republic of Poland, in collaboration with the EEA. It will present national level data on climate impacts and risks for water management in Poland. The EEA will inform about EU policies on managing flood and droughts and present complementary EU level knowledge resources on Climate- that help informing policies, planning and action on climate resilient water management. Adaptation AGORA final event: Citizens together for climate adaptation

The EU-funded projects Adaptation AGORA, CLIMAS, I-CHANGE, PRO-CLIMATE, and NEUROCLIMA, organize the “Citizens together for climate adaptation” event. It serves as a starting point to test newly developed tools and effective methodologies for future scenario planning, to engage citizens in mapping local vulnerabilities and resources, to encourage citizens to report real-time climate-related challenges and to facilitate small group discussions to explore trade-offs in climate adaptation measures.
