Participation processes on climate change adaptation: reflection and recommendations
The study presents an analysis of 22 participation processes on adaptation to climate change in Germany and gives recommendations for improving such processes. The results indicate that the use of visioning methods seems suitable for motivating climate adaptation measures. In order to systematically improve participation procedures, participants surveys assessing their perceptions of the used participation method and its motivational effect should become the standard.
