JPI Climate is a collaboration between 16 European countries to coordinate jointly their climate research and fund new transnational research initiatives. Transnational coordination of the research base aims to overcome research fragmentation, to make better use of precious public R&D resources and to facilitate cross border collaboration between top scientists.

 

JPI Climate connects scientific disciplines, enables cross-border research and increases science-practice interaction. By doing this, it is expected that JPI climate significantly contribute to underpinning the European efforts to respond to climate change.
