Climate Innovation Window

Description

The Climate Innovation Window aims to be a reference portal for innovations on climate change adaptation. It is developed under the frame of BRIGAID, a H2020 funded project bringing innovators and end-users together during the innovation development cycle. The portal provides information and contacts about diverse innovations for climate change adaptation developed by BRIGAID partners and in particular by a wide number of other innovators engaged with BRIGAID. Innovators who join BRIGAID will remain in full and undisputed possession of their Intellectual Property Rights on their innovation.

The Climate Innovation Window enables users to browse the innovations database by hazards (coastal floods, droughts, heatwaves, heavy precipitation, river foods, storms, wildfire and multi-hazards, etc.) and topics (agriculture, disaster and ICT, energy, forests, nature-based solutions, rivers, urban areas, water availability, water quality, water safety, etc.). Maturity of each innovation is assessed through the Technical Readiness Level (TRL), a scale consisting of nine levels where each level characterizes the progress in the development of the innovation, from the initial idea (Level 1) to the full uptake of the product into the marketplace (Level 9).
