CLIME is a climate service developed by Regional Models and geo-Hydrological Impacts Division (REMHI) of CMCC Foundation, to provide climate data and solutions to different types of users with different backgrounds and needs.
CLIME is able to take care of the whole information production chain: from the climate data collection/storage since processing of climate data according to user needs. The processing of climate data includes bias correction and climate analyses using the high resolution climate projections.
CLIME is also able to provide climate data in support of different impact studies (e.g., floods, drought, landslides, heat waves, wind storm).
The CLIME service is useful for different types of users such as:
- consultancy companies
- engineers
- academic researchers
- scientists
- public administrators
Users are both public (cities, municipalities) and private (firms, associations) and include both non climate data experts and experts with programming skills.
