Climate Information Portal for Copernicus (CLIPC)

Description:

CLIPC provides access to climate information of direct relevance to a wide variety of users, from scientists to policy-makers and private sector decision-makers. Climate information includes data from satellite and in-situ observations, climate models and re-analyses, and transformed data products to enable impact assessments and climate change impact indicators. CLIPC complements other projects supporting the development of the European Copernicus Climate Change Service, but also focuses on datasets which provide information on climate variability on different time scales from observed and projected climate change impacts in Europe. Furthermore, CLIPC provides a toolbox that can be used to generate, compare and rank selected climate impact indicators, along with documentation on methods and data sources used to generate them. Guidance information on the quality and limitations of, and the uncertainty in data products is also provided.
