New tools to drive adaptation in European regions: Putting the Adaptation Dashboard and Regional Adaptation Support Tool (RAST) to use

The first Mission Portal webinar showcases the Regional Adaptation Support Tool (RAST), designed to assist local and regional authorities across the EU in planning and implementing climate adaptation strategies. The session includes an in-depth, guided walkthrough of the steps, resources and tools available for each stage of the adaptation policy cycle, with a particular emphasis on the Adaptation Dashboard and its use. This dashboard provides user-friendly access to comprehensive climate risk data, including information on hazards, impacts, vulnerabilities, and policy responses, enabling decision-makers to effectively assess and manage climate risks. Additional resources from Climate-ADAPT will also be highlighted.

The webinar also covers new reporting activities under the Mission, with the reporting platform now open for submissions. Signatories are encouraged to begin reporting this year, promoting collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
