Objective of the funding programme

The EEA and Norway Grants are financial mechanisms funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway. They aim to reduce social and economic disparities in Europe while strengthening bilateral relations between the three donor countries and the European countries that receive the funding. One of the key areas supported by this funding is environment, energy, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and the transition to a low-carbon economy.
