European State of the Climate 2019
23 Apr 2020The European State of the Climate (ESOTC) 2019 comprises a summary with key findings, and chapters about the climate in Europe, ranging from long-term indicators to detailed reviews of climate anomalies last year. The ESOTC is compiled by the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) and implemented by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) on behalf of the European Commission.
Using stories to encourage action
21 Apr 2020A strand of work from the EU PLACARD project focused on using stories and narratives in the context of climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction. Through a series of workshops and discussions, the project developed material to explain the value of storytelling, and guidance on how to create motivating narratives for your own situation and audience.
New climate risk assessment tools launched by Oasis H2020_Insurance

SOCLIMPACT project case study: Whale watching and climate change in European islands
