Description

This January 2012 a workshop was organized by IS-ENES in collaboration with the European Environment Agency (EEA) and the CIRCLE-2. The workshop‘s main objective was to focus future climate modelling analysis in Europe on the climate data needs of the user community. The workshop brought together climate modellers, impact researchers and policy advisors at regional, national, trans-boundary and EU levels using climate data. The workshop addressed data needs in various sectors, notably water management, ecosystems and agriculture, coastal management, and urban development. The results of the workshop and proceedings can be downloaded. They detail who are the users of climate modelling, what users need and how the demand can be met.
