European Climate Data Explorer (health focus - beta version)

Description

The European Climate Data Explorer is a graphical user interface on Climate-ADAPT (to be launched in May 2021) that provides interactive access to many climate variables and indices from the Climate Data Store of the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S). Doing so, it makes the broad range of relevant data and information in the C3S Climate Data Store available to policymakers and other stakeholders without the technical expertise needed to navigate the C3S Climate Data Store.

Of particular relevance for the users of the European Climate and Health Observatory are indices developed in the context of the C3S Sectoral Information System for Health (European Health Service, to be finalized in 2021).

Several of these indicators are currently accessible in a beta version of the European Climate Data Explorer. They showcase the potential of cooperation between the EEA and C3S in providing quality-controlled information that is relevant for the European Climate and Health Observatory.

(This page will be updated once the final versions of the European Climate Data Explorer and the European Health Service have been published.)
