Register now! Mycotoxin risks in Europe and the potential impacts of climate change (Webinar)
Climate change is altering fungal behaviour and increasing the prevalence of mycotoxins, toxic compounds produced by fungi that contaminate crops, food, and feed. Exposure to these toxins is linked to severe health effects, including carcinogenicity, endocrine disruption, and neurotoxicity. Leveraging human biomonitoring (HBM) data from the HBM4EU initiative, the briefing provides evidence on dietary exposure to mycotoxins, revealing concerns for public health. This briefing explores how rising temperatures are intensifying human exposure to mycotoxins and highlights the One Health approach as a critical framework for mitigating risks.

Resilience and performance: measuring a country’s resilience in Health System Performance Assessment
At least since the Covid-19 pandemic, resilience has been a key preoccupation of policy-makers. Yet how to integrate it into health system performance assessments? A plethora of academic work over the last few years has attempted to conceptualize resilience as it pertains to health systems. But what do we know in terms of its practical application? In this webinar, we explore how a number of EU countries have practically measured health system resilience. Country representatives will impart which indicators are used and why, and how they fit into their national HSPAs. Join us to hear how countries practically measure resilience!
