Projects

A wide range of EU-funded projects have completed or are undertaking research and developing innovative approaches and options for climate adaptation and associated guidance, tools, data, and case studies to help regional and local authorities deliver the EU Mission on Adaption to Climate Change. Projects directly funded by Mission on Adaptation are managed by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA).

Further to the database below, you can find a short summary of each of the Mission-funded projects in the Mission Projects Catalogue, which outlines their main objectives, achievements, and the climate risks they address. The Catalogue brings together key information on all 46 Mission Projects funded by Horizon Europe, showing how they are helping local and regional authorities across Europe respond to the impacts of climate change. By highlighting a broad range of solutions, the Catalogue enables users to explore synergies, identify transferable approaches, and gain valuable insights into how these projects are building climate resilience on the ground.
