New Mission Projects Catalogue Showcases Europe’s Drive Towards Climate Resilience

The EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change has launched its Mission Projects Catalogue, offering a comprehensive overview of all 46 projects funded under Horizon Europe that are helping communities across Europe adapt to the impacts of climate change.

These projects, managed by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), represent the core of the Mission’s efforts to support regional and local authorities in building resilience. From nature-based solutions and early-warning systems to citizen engagement and policy innovation, each project is developing and testing practical approaches to climate adaptation.

The Mission Projects Catalogue brings together key information on each initiative, highlighting their objectives, achievements, targeted climate risks, and the regions involved. Designed as a user-friendly resource, the catalogue helps stakeholders explore synergies across sectors, identify transferable solutions, and access inspiration for local action.

The Mission Projects span diverse geographic and climatic contexts, reflecting the broad range of adaptation challenges across the EU. They are also aligned with the Mission’s core goals of increasing preparedness, enabling transformation, and strengthening resilience.
