The Adaptation Mission aims to help European regional and local authorities and communities in preparing and planning for climate resilience. Climate Adaptation Platforms (CAPs) include national, regional, and local web-based hubs that contribute directly to the Mission by providing access to:

      • National, regional and local datasets
      • Accessible, evidence-based information
      • Tools, and case studies.

Each CAP is tailored to the country, region or community that it serves to support the design and implementation of adaptation strategies and plans.

Many CAPs foster peer-to-peer learning. They also act as gateways for regional and local authorities to engage with wider initiatives and, thereby, align their actions with national and EU priorities.
