Objective of the funding programme

The MAHOP Plus programme aims to support micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises by enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of fish production and processing through innovation and digitalisation, while minimising environmental impact. The programme places particular emphasis on promoting climate- and environmentally friendly farming methods, increasing the adoption of circular farming practices within production systems, and preserving and enhancing the biodiversity of aquatic and wetland habitats.
