Objective of the funding programme

The plan aspires to lead Greece—its economy, society, and institutions—into a new era. It aims to drive a fundamental transformation toward a more outward-looking, competitive, and green productive model; a more efficient, digitized, and less bureaucratic state; and a high-quality, accessible social protection system for all.

Greece 2.0, the country's National Recovery and Resilience Plan, supports climate adaptation by funding renewable energy, energy efficiency, and emissions reduction projects. It is aligned with the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) and complementary initiatives such as LIFE-IP AdaptInGR, which reinforce regional and national adaptation strategies. Through these investments, Greece 2.0 strengthens climate resilience and sustainability.

Priority areas include:

  1. Green Transition

  2. Digital Transition

  3. Employment, Skills, and Social Cohesion

  4. Private Investment and Economic Transformation
