The Water Services Innovation Fund, established in collaboration with the Commission for the Regulation of Utilities, enables Uisce Éireann to support innovative projects and explore new technologies and operational models that benefit customers. Key focus areas include mitigating negative impacts of climate change and improving water resource conservation.
Current initiatives include a Nature-Based Solutions project in partnership with the University of Galway. A previous collaboration with Maynooth University focused on the identification of climate-sensitive catchments to support water resources and climate change adaptation.
