COastal Risks Management - ATlantic Stakeholders network

Description:

CORIMAT (COastal Risks Management- ATlantic Stakeholders network) is the scientists' and coastal managers' network for coastal risks management in the European Atlantic Area. It is led by EUCC-Atlantic, regional office of Coastal & Marine (EUCC) based in Biarritz, and dedicated to the European Atlantic coast.

The main objective is to revitalize the network of public managers and scientists working in the European Atlantic area, active between 2009 and 2012 in the framework of the ANCORIM project (Atlantic Network for COastal RIsks Management) funded by the INTERREG IVB programme.

CORIMAT extends the stakeholder directory and provides public access to the ANCORIM resources (didactic tools, case studies, guidelines). Information is organised around three themes: 1) Erosion; 2) Coastal flooding and 3) Coastal water quality.
