Building resilience to climate change: investing in adaptation

Description

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has summarized some of the investment projects to increase the climate resilience of businesses. Climate change is considered to be an imperative for water-intensive sectors, energy production, agribusiness and manufacturing. The referred projects are financed within the Sustainable Energy Initiative (SEI) of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The European Bank has invested 425 million euros in 65 adaptation projects in 20 countries since 2006.
